**Your role & work environment**

You provide relevant credit risk insights in order to be able to set and manage risk appetite & ensure that stakeholders get the relevant, timely and correct advice. You do this by collecting input from various expert areas and credit risk analytics, and combine this information into a comprehensive story.

You are member of Risk Business Advice, within the Credit Risk Department. The team is composed of eight credit risk experts, divided into two squads.

**Your key responsibilities**

Ensure compliance with risk appetite on Credit risk.
- Review the Credit risk appetite, aligned to INGs strategic ambitions and associated risks
- Help stakeholder to pro-actively manage the risk appetite
- Perform sensitivity analysis

Assure reasonableness of modelled Risk Weighted Assets and Expected Credit Losses.
- Monitor external macro-economic events and its impact on the portfolio performance
- Execute sensitivity analysis on individual risk drivers
- Benchmark INGs risk drivers with peers

Analyse and communicate on the evolution of the Credit Risk portfolio and changes in risk drivers.
- analyse observed changes in risk drivers and concentrations within the different sub-portfolios of the bank
- prepare and communicate insights and ad hoc analysis for internal and external parties, by collecting relevant insights from other expert stakeholders and specific Credit risk analytics.

Answer questions from the Business, Finance, external auditors, regulators or rating agencies related to Solvency and Credit risk

For this purpose, you will also:

- acquire a very good knowledge of the calculation of Credit risk, the related reporting infrastructure of ING Group (Vortex) and the management tools.
- maintain a variety of contacts with internal and external stakeholders (other Risk, Finance, Capital Management, various delivery tribes, ING Group, Front office, Subsidiaries, Auditors etc.).

As a Financial Expert within Credit Risk you will need:

- Master's degree (Economics, Finance, other)
- Relevant experience (+3years) in Risk Management, Financial analytics,
- A fluent level in English (written and oral communicator)
- A good knowledge of MS Office
- Data-minded: Experience in SAS EG / credit reporting software is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Autonomy and team work
- Willingness to learn
