Division Specific Information
The Immunodiagnostics Division (IDD) of Thermo Fisher Scientific develops, manufactures and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,500 employees based in 25 countries worldwide IDD is the global leader in in-vitro allergy testing and the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.
The Clinical Sales Representative will be responsible for a territory assigned in Belgium and Luxemburg.
How will you make an impact?
The position of Clinical Sales Representative requires an individual that is highly motivated and possesses an ambitious attitude. You will be responsible for driving utilization of ImmunoCapTM and EliaTM diagnostic tests to strategically chosen accounts within the assigned territory. You will serve as a vital link to decision makers to educate and persuade them to be clinical champions for our diagnostic tests.
Objectives:
- Promote our tests and activities in a target set of doctors & healthcare professionals.
- Generate the turnover thanks to the impact of the actions undertaken with the target doctors & healthcare professionals (visits and activities).
- Persuasively sell the concept of using a diagnostic test to targeted physicians and markets.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with local doctors, biologists, and opinion leaders.
- Deliver the right messages to the right target doctors.
- Explore business opportunities and offer services (valuable).
- Analyze and propose activities in line with to the local strategic action-plan.
- Organization and animation of meetings with healthcare professionals (Workshops, local congresses, clinical staff meetings ).
- Share information with the colleagues Laboratory Sales Representative in the territory.
- The employee exercises its functions in respect of the Group's 4I values: Integrity, Innovation, Involvement, Intensity.
- Propose and/or follow cycle plans setup in Salesforce to visit designated customer population.
- Report business progress in Salesforce CRM.
- Respect the administrative procedures & legal obligations (visibility, Mdeon, etc...).
**Requirements**:
Bachelor or Sc.Master in Medicine, Biology, Life Sciences or in this field.
1 + years diagnostic, medical sales or B2B technical sales experience
Track record of sales success
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Professional selling, commercial skills & clinical visits
- Languages : French, Dutch, English
- The ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory (daily) and to travel company meetings (quarterly). This will require the ability to drive a company car throughout the territory.
