We have a very exciting opportunity to join Fragomen’s Brussels office as a Business Immigration Manager for the Netherlands inbound team on a permanent basis.

About the team
The Fragomen Netherlands inbound team, based in both Brussels and Amsterdam, is a team of approximately 35 professionals all from different backgrounds with extensive experience in Dutch immigration law. We provide the full suite of Dutch immigration support to some of the biggest employers in the country and the world across multiple industries.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our Management Team.
The Opportunity
Our Managers form part of our key leadership within the firm, and are responsible for the day-to-day management and growth of the firm's practice areas. You will work closely with the Senior Manager, the Associate and the Partner to develop and implement strategies to drive the firm's success, including business development, client management, and financial performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of approximately 15 people, their workload, performance, training and development, as well as the quality of their client support- Responsible for maintaining good client relationships and the close management of VIP cases and escalations, as well as active participation in presentations and client meetings- Liaising and establishing relationships with key internal stakeholders across our client accounts, including Partners, other Managers, global and regional Client Service Managers, and other relevant stakeholders- Developing and implementing quality and efficiency initiatives, and monitoring compliance with (new) processes and initiatives- Critically assessing existing processes and policies and making improvement suggestions- Sharing best practices and providing strategic insights into complex inquiries, projects and high profile matters- Identifying and pursuing new client opportunities- Scoping and pricing of service models; identifying and implementing new service models for the team- Actively assisting with and participating in internal and external conferences, seminars, and client networking events
Your professional experience- You may have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in service delivery (in immigration/tax/global mobility) combined with proven experience in leading a team- Ideally you will have a relevant academic background; an emphasis on Dutch immigration law and policies would be an asset- Native or bi-lingual proficiency in English is mandatory; Dutch language skills would also be welcomed but are not mandatory- The ability to analyse, structure, build and define clear processes, to identify opportunities and provide innovative solutions, and a proven record of strategic thinking and advisory work- Demonstrable experience in a client facing role, with strong customer service experience and the ability to present to clients and manage escalations- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, meet deadlines, monitor budgets and manage multiple projects- Proven experience in leading change management initiatives- Hands-on and efficiency-driven (suggestions & implementation), and solutions focused
