Belfius Commercial Finance is een volle dochteronderneming van Belfius Bank en al 25 jaar actief als specialist in debiteurenbeheer en werkkapitaalfinanciering, zowel B2B als B2G. Zo behoren we tot de top van de Belgische markt.

Nadat de klant het contract ondertekende ga jij, als Debtor Officer, achter de betaling van de facturen van onze klant aan. Jouw team maakt deel uit van de afdeling Operations en werkt samen met het team Payment Officers (PO - Operations), dat de betalingen verwerkt, met het team Servicing Officers, dat de dagelijkse opvolging van de contracten behartigt en met het team Commercial Finance Advisors (CFA - Sales team), dat het contract onderhandelde.

Je draagt bij aan de groei en de rentabiliteit van het bedrijf van onze klanten door al je ondernomen acties om betaling te verkrijgen. Het blijven immers de klanten van onze klanten die je aanmoedigt om zo snel mogelijk hun openstaande facturen te betalen.

**De job in een notendop**

Je bewaakt de jouw toegewezen debiteurenportefeuille en contacteert dus voornamelijk de klanten van onze klanten. Je verdiept je in je klanten en de bijhorende debiteurenportefeuille zodat je voorbereid bent en je taak professioneel kan aanvatten.
- Je voornaamste taak is de debiteuren van onze klanten te bellen om betaling van hun achterstallige facturen te bespoedigen of te regelen.
- Je houdt je dossier altijd up-to-date met de aangeleverde correcte informatie.
- Je mailt aanmaningen naar debiteuren en volgt deze nauwkeurig op.
- Je weet ook minder leuke boodschappen te brengen op een professionele resultaatgerichte manier. Hierbij bewaak je de fijne lijn tussen doelgerichtheid en klantvriendelijkheid. Samen met de debiteur zoek je steeds duurzame oplossingen zodat de samenwerking van onze klant met zijn debiteur niet of zo min mogelijk in het gedrang komt.
- In een minder gunstig geval onderhandel je met de debiteur een strikt afbetalingsplan, dat je stipt opvolgt.
- Tijdens meetings evalueer je de samenwerking en je klantenportefeuille met de betrokken collega’s (van de andere operationele teams) en je stemt je acties hierop af.
- Je werkt constructief en intens samen met de Payment Officer en de Servicing Officer met tevreden klanten als uiteindelijke einddoel.

**Jij hoeft geen witte raaf te zijn**
- Je hebt ervaring in de financiële of banksector. Voorkennis van factoring en kredietproducten zou fijn zijn maar is geen vereiste. Ook ervaring in een contact center heeft raakvlakken.
- Je kan een diploma secundair onderwijs voorleggen, met bij voorkeur ook nog een Bachelor.
- Telefoneren is helemaal je ding Je onderhandelt op een vriendelijke doch besliste manier, voornamelijk telefonisch maar ook schriftelijk. Je bent hierbij steeds gefocust op het resultaat van het gesprek, zijnde de betaling van de facturen. Jouw prettige telefoonstem doet daarbij iedereen overstag gaan.
- Je weet moeilijke situaties om te buigen naar constructieve oplossingen en denkt vooruit, met een focus op risico’s.
- Natuurlijk spreek je even vlot Nederlands als Frans. Ook Engels beheers je goed.
- Je werkt gestructureerd, logisch en ordelijk met aandacht voor detail.
- Je bent empathisch en tegelijk ook een ‘tough cookie’.
