Nadat onze klant het factoringcontract ondertekende ben jij, als Payment Officer, diegene die de betaling van de facturen van onze klant verwerkt. Je bewaakt de kwaliteit en de juistheid van alle gegevens die we van onze klanten en debiteuren krijgen. Je let erop dat we de juiste debiteuren aanschrijven, dat we facturen correct inlezen en financieren, en dat we de ontvangen betalingen aan de juiste facturen toewijzen.
Je maakt deel uit van de Operationele Dienst, en werkt nauw samen met je collega’s Debtor Officers (debiteurenbeheer) en Servicing Officers (portefeuille-beheer).
Je draagt bij aan de groei en de rentabiliteit van het bedrijf van onze klanten door je professionele, correcte en efficiënte verwerking van alle betalingen van hun facturen. Wat doe je?
- Je belangrijkste taak is de betalingen via overschrijving, domiciliëring, wissel en cheque dagelijks zo kundig en efficiënt mogelijk te verwerken.
- Je alloceert binnenkomende betalingen aan de juiste facturen, en dit in verschillende deviezen.
- Je neemt contact op met onze klant of met de debiteur als je meer info nodig hebt voor die toewijzing.
- Je kijkt de kwaliteit en juistheid na van de aangeleverde bestanden van onze klanten met daarin nieuwe debiteuren en facturen.
- Facturen en creditnota’s kijk je na en valideer je of verwerp je, afhankelijk van je inschatting.
- Tijdens werkmeetings evalueer je de samenwerking en je klantenportefeuille met de collega’s van de andere operationele teams en je stemt je acties hierop af.
**Wat verwachten we van jou?**:
- Ervaring in de financiële of banksector is geen must maar een troef, net als voorkennis van factoring en kredietproducten.
- Je kan liefst een Bachelor diploma voorleggen.
- Je hebt een eerdere werkervaring in een administratieve rol, waaruit blijkt dat je kan omgaan met complexe vraagstukken, met verantwoordelijkheid naar klanten en met deadlines.
- Je hebt logisch inzicht in cijfers en bent administratief een perfectionist die taken grondig afwerkt. Je beseft wat betalingen betekenen voor onze klanten en wat het uitblijven ervan concreet als risico inhoudt.
- Ordelijkheid, nauwkeurigheid en oog voor detail typeren je. Je kan veel gegevens vlot verwerken, zonder je focus te verliezen. Je respecteert deadlines.
- Je bent nieuwsgierig en leert graag bij.
- Natuurlijk spreek je zowel vlot Nederlands als Frans. Ook Engels praat je een aardig mondje mee.
