Henco in Herentals (Antwerpen - België) is in een periode van 30 jaar een belangrijke Europese producent geworden van buizen, koppelingen en toebehoren van uitstekende kwaliteit. Producten voor verwarmings-, gas
- en sanitaire installaties die hun toepassing vinden in woningbouw en utiliteit. Daarnaast biedt het bedrijf een breed assortiment ten behoeve van vloerverwarmingsinstallaties. Er wordt jaarlijks een wereldwijde afzet gerealiseerd van meer dan 130 miljoen meter buis en meer dan 11 miljoen koppelingen met meer dan 300 medewerkers. In de fabriek in België wordt door middel van een verfijnd ontwikkelings
- en productieproces continu een uitstekende kwaliteit gegarandeerd. Henco beschikt over moderne productielijnen en magazijnen, die constant uitgebreid worden om op een flexibele manier aan de vragen uit de markt te kunnen voldoen.
**Vacatureomschrijving**
- Als Product Developer sta je in voor de productontwikkeling van conceptfase tot eindproduct. Je vertrekt hierbij van een duidelijke lijst van vereisten die op basis van marktinput door product management wordt opgesteld;
- Je werkt verschillende concepten uit. Hierbij heb je nauwe contacten met interne en/of externe partijen om na te gaan of het voorgestelde concept aan de verwachtingen voldoet. Tevens ga de produceerbaarheid van je concept na met engineering, productie en/of externe leveranciers;
- Je werkt het geselecteerde concept verder uit tot een eindproduct. Je maakt hiervoor detailtekeningen en coördineert de aanmaak van prototypes teneinde de technische functionaliteit van het ontwerp te valideren. Je neemt hierbij een kritische houding aan en streeft naar een kwalitatieve hoogwaardige oplossing;
- Je analyseert testresultaten en bent in staat om op basis van je bevindingen het ontwerp aan te passen om aan alle functionele vereisten te voldoen;
- Je begeleid het ontwikkelingsproces en zorgt ervoor dat alle afdelingen (engineering, aankoop, product management) de nodige informatie hebben om het ontwikkelingstraject tot een goed einde te brengen;
- Je blijft up-to-date omtrent nieuwe productiemethodes en materialen.
**Functie-eisen**
- Je behaalde een masterdiploma in een technische richting (Elektromechanica, Productontwikkeling);
- Je hebt reeds ervaring opgedaan in een gelijkaardige functie;
- Je hebt kennis van Inventor;
- Je durft ‘out of the box’ denken om vernieuwende oplossingen en ideeën voor te stellen;
- Je bent resultaatgericht, hebt oog voor detail en werkt nauwkeurig;
- Je kan omgaan met tijdsdruk en deadlines.
