We are hiring a Technology Expert for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) **in Brussels**. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities
- NATURE OF THE TASKS
Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in the area of business intelligence technologies.
- Design and development of online analytical data processing (OLAP)
- Creation and maintenance of a data warehouse
- Gathering business requirements
- Development of data mining solutions
- ETL processes
- Data modelling
- Physical database design
- Database performance analysis
- Elaboration of test programs
- Writing of technical documentation
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
- Participation in meetings with project teams.
- KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- In-depth knowledge of data warehouse architecture
- In-depth knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse
- In depth knowledge of SQL
- In depth knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools (QlikView, PowerBI, QlikSense)
- Good knowledge of ETL tools
- Good knowledge of modelling tools
- Good knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP) and data mining tools
- Good knowledge of the statistics and statistical models
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.
Specific expertise
- Minimum a total of 9 years of professional experience in one or more of the following: RDBMS (e.g. Oracle), DB languages (e.g. pl/sql), modelling and reporting tools
- Basic knowledge of Justice and/or Consumers EU policy objectives would be considered a plus
- Basic knowledge of Justice and/or Consumers related public IT Systems would be considered a plus
- Professional experience in a legal organisation or department will be considered a plus
Language
- Excellent written and oral command of French or English**Important**
