To reinforce our Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics team we are looking for a Transportation Manager Europe.
**Mission and Key Tasks**:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the effective transportation of products from internal and external Distribution Centers to customers.
- Streamline transportation processes and procedures to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, focus on service levels as expected by our customers, and compliant with European regulations.
- Follow up on carrier performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards.
- Organize and prepare transportation tenders in collaboration with the procurement team.
- Identify opportunities to reduce CO2 emissions within transportation operations.
- Follow up on transportation costs and lead annual transportation budget process
**Background and Experience**:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in transportation management, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen focus on finding efficient solutions.
- Knowledge of logistics best practices, trends, and innovations. Proficiency in logistics software, such as transportation management systems (TMS).
