The Pickx tribe aims to Deliver the best content experience on the Belgian market, combined with tailored content blends and editorial lines and boost adoption.
Together, we develop Pickx to become the market leading content platform available via the mobile app, decoder and apple TV. Leveraging the personal data generation of ecosystem services and Telco related data (CRM, traffic data,) to build an attractive addressable TV product and monetize the generated data through ATV, the Ads&Data JV or other partnerships.

**As a Product Owner**:
You maximize the customer value creation by defining and prioritizing the deliverables. You can only succeed if the entire organization respects your decisions. These decisions are visible in the content and prioritization of the Squad backlog and through the demonstrated increments during sprint reviews. You report into the Pickx Tribe Lead.
**Your role is to**:
- develop and communicate owned product vision and synchronize it with Tribe Leads and other PO’s
- maintain a transparent, visible and prioritized Squad backlog and ensure all Squad members understand the ‘what’ of the work and the ‘why’ of the priorities
- manage the ‘what’ in a Squad, hence keep the expected quality level through the whole process based on defined acceptance criteria
- ensure that all stakeholders know about the functional and non-functional requirements. The latter includes topics like security, resilience and performance, but also contractual, legal and compliance requirements and obligations
- interact via different ceremonies with the rest of the Tribe and other teams for maintaining alignment and collaboration
- closely work together with the chapters, agile coaches and scrum masters for evaluating team performance
**As Value Proposition Product Owner, your mission more specifically is to**:
Build and constantly improve content portfolio (including own production, broadcaster, TVOD, partnerships based on segments requirements, feature evolution, experience and editorial line). That mission in valid across all entertainment categories, cross brands (Proximus, Scarlet, MV) and cross segments.
In a nutshell: determine which content, to which audience, at which price to satisfy all our viewers segments, supporting Group’s strategy execution at short and long term.
**High-level backlog**
- detect opportunities and build innovative content value proposition
- Design and evolve Pickx Portfolio (broadcasters, options, SVOD/TVOD, stand-alone third parties services, etc)
- Create new business streams (ex content for mobile)
- Design, negotiate and implement partnerships
- Build business cases with Finance colleagues’ support
Profile
Behavioural competences required:
- Customer orientation: always act with the customer in mind, based on customer data and information
- Creative: always finding new and unique ideas and easily create links between unexplored options
- Story telling design, write, visualise and explain things in a clear and in an inspiring way
- Result oriented and decision maker
- Strong prioritisation management: senses quickly and easily which elements could facilitate or block the reaching of goals, eliminate obstacles and focusses on the essentials. Plan and organise work and available resources
- Stakeholder management: efficiently manoeuvres between complex positions and discussions of different stakeholders
Knowledge and technical skills required:
- At least 3 years of experience in media, content and/or related products or services in Proximus or other Media or Broadcast companies in Belgium, with focus on content negotiation and media market analysis
- Project management experience throughout different segments and/or departments
- Business acumen
