We are looking for a portfolio manager
**Mission description**:
We are seeking for somebody to s**et up an improved portfolio management process within the IT department.** The main goal is to have more transparency on the ongoing initiatives and activities so we can more efficiently prioritize.
This mission offers the opportunity to learn about the existing project portfolio management processes, and how to improve said processes within the context of a larger international company.
**Service Description**:
- Gather and consolidate a l**ist of ongoing IT projects and initiatives**:
- Create and validate a process for prioritizing and tracking the identified initiatives
- Lead the first iteration of the new prioritization process for initiatives and identify improvement points
- Consolidate all prioritized initiatives into one **roadmap**:
- **Verify the feasibility of the roadmap** from a **budget** and **people** perspective
**Additional requirements**:
- Specific prior experience with **setting up a portfolio management process is required**:
- A proven knowledge of (IT) portfolio and project methodology or experience in a similar position
- Fluency in working with MS Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook and MS Teams
- Possesses analytical thinking skills
- Has an eye for detail
- Is flexible and persistent
The mission is based in **Brussels**.
Working from home is possible **3 times per week**.
The working language is **English** but the ability to follow a conversation in any of the **national languages is a big plus**
