This is what we do at our Tribe “CRM-Individuals & Master Data Management”: our ambition is to know our client so good that we can deliver the best personalized, trusted, compliant and frictionless interaction during all moments of the customer lifecycle.

This tribe has a central role in our bank. The tribe consists of multi-disciplinary teams (squads) combining all the IT & business skills needed to develop & maintain the customer relationship management with individuals (including KYC and AML) and everything related to our core client referential: customer data, consent management, product relationship, campaigning,

Every tribe/squad member is also part of a chapter. As Chapter lead, you are acting every day as a servant leader: you are in charge of functional expertise, people development and line management. You are also a part of a dynamic tribe leadership.

Your team is consisting of Dev
- & Ops Engineers (functional and technical Analysts, developers, integrators (DEV-OPS) and also test automation engineers). All of them expert in one or multiple technologies and software tools (mainframe, Java, React, Kafka, Camunda ). Most of your chapter members are T-shaped making them very dynamic and multi-use.

**Your Future Job**

As Chapter lead of Dev and Ops Engineers, you manage a multi skilled development team. You report to the IT Tribe Lead, who reports to the CIO of BNP Paribas Fortis.

**Your activities as People Manager: you coach**
- You nurture the employees in your chapter by ensuring they develop the right skills & knowledge and you manage with them their career plans.
- You build, together with your peer chapter leads, on a continuous changing and challenging sourcing strategy.
- You recruit new chapter members in line with current & future needs of the tribe and ensure a good onboarding of them.
- You ensure an open and transparent communication with resource suppliers thinking along in the multiple established value based partnerships.
- You support team members, helping them based on your experience or redirecting them to people able to help. You also support them in the necessary changes.
- You provide during the year continuous feedback to your chapter members and are responsible for the annual evaluation and the renumeration decisions in your chapter.
- You contribute to the daily functioning of the tribe and represent your chapter in the tribe leadership.
- You help building an open feedback culture at all levels in our tribe and cultivate an open communication and a high level of trust. You pro-actively try to guarantee knowledge retention and continuity within your chapter.You act as a sponsor in one or multiple communities of practice (CoP) within the tribe (or even cross tribe)
- You are enthusiastic about setting up activities at tribe level (audit, ceremonies, competence center,)

**Your** **activities as expert: you guide**
- You provide pro-active recommendations based on the market evolutions in your expertise domain.
- You collaborate closely with the squads, products owners, agile coaches and other stakeholders in order to continuously improve the way of working, tools and skills of your chapter members.
- You translate the needs of your expertise area in strategic development points for the chapter/guild.
- Part of your job is also to create an environment that will allow your developers to thrive.
- As an expert in your domain, you bring the guidance, structure and necessary coaching to the members of your chapter (best practices, and promote these)
- Being also a « player coach » in your domain, you can if needed also actively contribute to the delivery activities of the tribe, as a squad member or by driving transversal topics at the level of the tribe. You dare to step outside of your role to intervene when needed like: specific follow up on technology, incident management...
