The European Free Trade Association (EFTA) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our HR team. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with many stakeholders.

EFTA is an intergovernmental organisation committed to advancing free trade and economic integration among its four Member States: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland. With offices in Geneva, Brussels, and Luxembourg, the EFTA Secretariat serves these states by facilitating policy development, negotiations, and implementation of free trade agreements. Our Geneva headquarters supports the EFTA Council, while our Brussels office manages the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement and assists Member States in influencing EU decision-making. Additionally, our Luxembourg office contributes to the evolution of the European Statistical system.

Our Brussels duty station is based in the brand-new EFTA House, which also hosts two of our sister organisations: EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA), and the EEA and Norway Grants (FMO).

**Role Description**:
As HR Partner, your tasks would include, for example:

- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes (e.g.: publishing of vacancies, screening of applicants, logistics, job offer, onboarding, etc.)
- Collaborating with the HR Partner in lead for our Junior Professional Programme (JPP) on the JPP life cycle (recruitment, onboarding, training, events, etc.)
- Collaborating with the HR Partner in lead for Learning & Development on specific training needs
- Collaborating with the HR team on constant improvements, with the aim of increasing quality and efficiency, in everything we do. This may include streamlining processes, finding and implementing new technologies, making better use of our data for better statistics and analysis, and more.
- Acting as HR local representative supporting on administrative duties and point of contact with local authorities (e.g.: liaising with authorities on special ID cards, VAT exemption, etc.)
- Managing the employee life cycle for the EEA and Norway Grants staff members (e.g. onboarding, payroll preparations, step increases, internal moves, offboarding, etc.)
- Supporting new system implementations (HRIS, ATS, etc.)

**Essential Skills**:

- Top notch interpersonal skills, enthusiastic, highly motivated and able to take initiative
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Proven and successful experience in HR
- Service-minded, solution-oriented, flexible and consistent
- Excel in administrative tasks and strong eye for detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Capable of prioritising and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills and a substantial work capacity
- Comfortable with using various technical solutions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

**Ideal Skills**:

- Experience with Dynamics 365 or other HRIS
- Work experience in an international organisation would be an asset
- Fluency in written and spoken Dutch
