**ServiceNow ITSM Functional Consultant - Freelance**
**Location**: Belgium

We are seeking an experienced and skilled ServiceNow ITSM Functional Consultant to join our freelance project team in Belgium. As a ServiceNow ITSM Functional Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that align with our client's business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing their IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and delivering value through efficient and effective use of the ServiceNow platform.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
As a ServiceNow ITSM Functional Consultant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- **Requirements Gathering and Analysis**:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their ITSM needs and business processes.
- Gather and document detailed functional and technical requirements for ServiceNow implementations.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to identify pain points and opportunities for process improvements.
- **Solution Design and Configuration**:

- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules to design tailored solutions that address client requirements.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and scripts to meet business needs.
- Ensure best practices and industry standards are followed during solution design and configuration.
- **Project Implementation**:

- Lead or participate in the full lifecycle implementation of ServiceNow projects, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within scope.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the ITSM domain.
- Recommend and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience.
- **Documentation and Training**:

- Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, technical design documents, and user guides.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams and end-users on newly implemented solutions.
- **Troubleshooting and Support**:

- Investigate and troubleshoot reported problems, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.
- **Stay Current with ServiceNow Trends**:

- Keep up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and industry trends.
- Share insights and recommendations with the team and clients to drive continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Functional Consultant or similar role.
- Strong expertise in configuring and customizing ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, etc.).
- Solid understanding of ITSM best practices and processes.
- Proficient in creating workflows, business rules, UI policies, and script-based customizations.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- ServiceNow certification(s) in ITSM or related areas is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
