Digital Communications & Marketing Coordinator

Introduction to the position

Key accountabilities

The Digital Communications/Marketing Coordinator is accountable for the following:

- Maximizing the school’s digital media presence, seeking opportunities to increase visibility, and ensuring the coherence of key messages.
- Implementing and supporting content marketing tactics including social media, website, newsletters, articles and blogs, SEO and more.
- Updating and managing content on the school website.
- Managing digital communication platforms and optimizing their use, including understanding how they serve different stakeholders and purposes.
- Identifying appropriate communication strategies and tools to reach set goals and targets.
- Aligning brand identity across different channels, online and offline, and ensuring that the visual identity is maintained.
- Supporting internal stakeholders in the communication of events taking place on campus, defining media plans and monitoring their implementation.
- Support mass mailing to the community.
- Reporting periodically on key performance indicators, providing recommendations.
- Working on projects to create a positive experience for prospective families and other ISB community members.

Skills and competences

Experience, Skills, and Qualities
- Understanding of digital communication channels & digital trends, as well as relevant media outlets.
- Key point of contact for the website, responsible for its day-to-day management, working alongside the Communications team to ensure design consistency and driving customer experience improvements.
- Managing daily content updates, content demand, workflow, prioritisation and delivery.
- Using Google Analytics to produce and report website statistics.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and website accessibility requirements.
- Experience using Finalsite to manage and update website content.
- 3-5 years of experience managing social media channels and other digital platforms.
- Experience of writing copy to a high standard for promotional material and websites, adapting tone and content to a variety of different audiences and platforms.
- Experience producing digital content for multiple communication and content channels
- Proven experience in developing digital communication plans.
- Experience implementing, delivering and evaluating digital campaigns across platforms.
- Knowledge of best practice principles of social media optimisation.
