Om ons departement Passenger Aviation te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar een Head of Data & Analytics.

De Head of is verantwoordelijk voor het effectief beheren van zijn/haar domein en doet dit door teamleden aan te sturen en middelen efficiënt aan te wenden. De Head of helpt de organisatie en/of departementale strategie te bepalen vanuit een data invalshoek, die dan kan vertaald worden naar een datastrategie voor BAC. Hier volgt dan een roadmap uit met een concreet plan van aanpak met duidelijke doelstellingen & KPI’s. Hij/zij waakt over de uitvoering en opvolging hiervan en stuurt bij waar nodig om de vooropgestelde doelstellingen te bereiken. Hij zet ook een governance op om data vragen vanuit de organisatie te prioriteren (op basis van value) en op te leveren. Zo zorgt hij/zij ervoor dat BAC elke dag een beetje meer data gedreven wordt en maakt optimaal gebruik van data analytics en data science ter optimalisatie van de bedrijfswerking.

Meer specifiek heeft deze functie de opdracht om van Brussels Airport de slimste data-gedreven luchthavengemeenschap te maken. Hij/Zij zorgt ervoor dat alle data gerelateerd aan het luchthavengebeuren (passagiers, assets, airlines, handlers, retail, parking, real-estate, ) wordt gemanaged als een asset, en wordt omgezet naar informatie en inzichten, met als doel om:

- De juiste visie en strategie voor BAC te bepalen
- Data-gedreven beleidsbeslissingen te nemen
- Operationele processen (real-time) te sturen en te optimaliseren
- Commerciële winsten te maximaliseren
- Klanten een optimale en gepersonaliseerde ervaring te geven

**Wat je bij ons zal realiseren**:

- Je definieert en implementeert de visie en strategie van de afdeling in lijn met deze van het bedrijf en communiceert deze strategie naar zowel het management als breder in het bedrijf en (waar gepast) naar de buitenwereld
- Als leider, bent je een rolmodel van het BAC-leiderschapsmodel
- Geeft als leider het kader waarbinnen het team functioneert en zelf beslissingen kan nemen, maar hakt waar nodig knopen door die vooruitgang blokkeren of resultaten in gevaar brengen
- Bouwt een gepassioneerd team van talentvolle medewerkers en een netwerk van serviceproviders, dat alle expertise en business kennis heeft om de doelstellingen van de afdeling, het departement en de business te bereiken
- Treedt op als accountmanager voor één of meerdere ManCom leden om hen te ondersteunen in de samenwerking met hun data en data analytics noden.
- Weet wie de key stakeholders zijn, wat hun prioriteiten en drijfveren zijn en zorgt voor betrokkenheid door de gepaste communicatiekanalen met hen op te zetten
- Heeft impact op de stakeholders en slaagt erin door het managen van de stakeholders om doelstellingen te bereiken
- Bouwt relaties op binnen de airport community om tot samenwerkingsverbanden te komen

**Wat jou onderscheidt**:

- Master
- Minstens 8 jaar relevante inhoudelijke ervaring in het domein van data, data analytics en data science.
- Minstens 10 jaar managent ervaring
- Nederlands, en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Frans is een mooie extra
- Strategisch inzicht.
- Sterke people management ervaring en goede leiderschapskwaliteiten.
- Ervaring in het opstellen en behalen van doelstellingen, bepalen van prioriteiten in complexe omgevingen, management rapportering en communicatie, cross-departementale samenwerking, procesverbetering.
- Organisatietalent, vlot in het voeren van onderhandelingen, analytische capaciteiten.
- Klantengericht (extern klantencontact op niveau senior management/directie), in staat externe partijen te overtuigen, uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden, diplomatie
- & onderhandelingsvaardigheden.
- Structurele aanpak en sterk analytisch, creatief, conceptueel en resultaatsgericht denkvermogen.
- Creatief in het toepassen van technologie voor het oplossen van concrete problemen, zowel strategisch als tactisch
- Evangeliseren van technologie
- Sterke organisatorische vaardigheden.
- Analyseert complexe situaties in een snel veranderende omgeving en bepaalt prioriteiten
- Heeft een enterpreneurial spirit, oog voor detail en denkt zowel op korte als op lange termijn.

- Behandelen van complexe materies in een complexe omgeving;
- Omgaan met een uitdagende competitieve situatie; Snelheid, kwaliteit en kwantiteit verzoenen.
