**Department Info**:
Our Supply Chain Mission? To become a globally recognized EMEA supply chain team, which continuously innovates and improves quality of service in a transparent, compliant and patient-centric way.

The Supply Chain department is responsible for Sales & Operations Planning and Inventory Management for the EMEA region. Our goal is to improve synchronization and decision making across functions within EMEA by improving collaboration and aligning the organization around a single operating plan, supported by the right data and tools. We aim to balance demand and supply and ensure healthy inventory levels that maximize customer service and minimize backorders and obsolescence. Together with the Customer Service department and the European Distribution Center (EDC) we act and collaborate as one supply chain team.

**Job Summary**:
The Warehouse Lead in our European Distribution Centre (EDC) is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the warehouse facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse processes and logistics. The Warehouse Lead plays a critical role in ensuring efficient and effective distribution of products while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.

You will report directly to and be guided by the Warehouse Operations Manager, Ronnie Willems.

**Responsibilities**:
**Managing day-to-day warehouse operations**
- Organize and coordinate daily warehouse processes to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.
- Achieve daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, delivery, planning, team and work environment.
- Plan and schedule the workforce to meet operational needs, ensuring adequate staffing levels and appropriate skill sets.
- Optimize processes using lean daily management principles, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective solutions.
- Generate reports and analyse operational performance data to identify trends, make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Support change management initiatives and facilitate the adoption of new technologies and innovations to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between warehouse operations and other departments.
- Stay updated on industry trends, and best practices related to healthcare distribution and warehouse management.

**People management**
- Coach and mentor team coaches, fostering empowerment, setting goals, and monitoring performance.
- Manage competency and skill development of warehouse employees, providing coaching and guidance to enhance their performance.
- Motivate and support warehouse employees, promoting teamwork and increasing engagement to achieve departmental objectives.
- Motivate and empower others to reach results together, foster collaboration, share ownership, and celebrate success.
- Encourage and invite the open expression of diverse ideas and opinions. Listen attentively to all team members’ feedback and give own feedback in a constructive way.

**Environmental, health and safety improvement**
- Safeguard the correct execution of safety, wellbeing, and environmental standards within the respective domain.
- Determine preventive and corrective actions
- Request advice from EHS team
- Act as a role model and set the example of a ‘safety first’ mentality

**Profile Description**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a people manager.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and techniques to drive operational improvements.
- Familiarity with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting.
- Experience in change management and technological innovation is a plus.
