**Robert Half** **Talent Solutions** is currently looking for a **Senior Accounting Officer (M/F/x) **to join a company based in the centre of Brussel.
Our client provides high quality personalised **investor services**.
The scope of **responsibilities** for this job as **Senior Accounting Officer **includes:
- Full bookkeeping of the client's file in the accounting system Winbooks including AP, AR, Banking and Miscellaneous Operations under Belgian GAAP ;
- Preparation of the year-end entries once all required reconciliation on VAT, payroll, banking balances are completed ;
- Conduction of the year-end audit with external auditors if required ;
- Preparation and submission of the periodical VAT return including Intracom and client listing ;
- Being single point of contact with the tax administration in case of VAT audit or information requests ;
- Calculation of the CIT provisions, preparation and filing of the CIT return ;
- Being single point of contact with the tax administration in case of CIT or information request ;
- Preparation and submission of applicable withholding tax forms ;
- Completion of NBB surveys if needed.
The requested **qualifications** for this job as **Senior Accounting Officer **include:
- You have a University degree in Economics/Accountancy ;
- You are fluent in French or Dutch. Knowledge of English will be considered as an asset ;
- You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience within an (international) fiduciary or trust firm and/or proven experience of full conduction of a client's file or corporate entity from A to Z from Accounting and Tax perspective ;
- You have a deep knowledge of Belgian GAAP, experience with key IFRS standards is a must, good knowledge of Belgian VAT and CIT ;
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office.
