Inxigma, a high profile recruitment company specialised in insurance sector, is looking for a **Risk Officer** to join the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team, which is responsible for establishing and maintaining a risk management system within a TOP Belgian insurance company.
**Responsibilities**
- Participate in the continuous identification of the main risks facing the company, such as financial, insurance, operational or strategic risks, and determine, in consultation with Management, the most appropriate approaches to manage these risks.
- Collect information from the various contact persons about risks, coordinate the annual review of internal risk management policies, prepare a report on this and present it to governance committees.
- Coordinate the ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment) process in collaboration with other risk departments and local entities, define stress test scenarios and draft the Group ORSA report.
- Review the risk analyses and provide feedback on it in a critical but constructive way.
- Assist in embedding the ERM and Operational Risk framework.
**Qualifications**
- More than 3 years of relevant experience in risk management, ideally in the financial sector.
- Master's degree in economics with knowledge of business administration, organisation, processes and controls, audit or equivalent experience.
- Proficient written and verbal knowledge of Dutch / French and English.
- Working experience with Solvency II.
- Be proactive, flexible and able to work on an independent basis, have strong coordination, planning and organizational skills.
