**Plan International België** werkt al meer dan 35 jaar aan een wereld die rechtvaardig en veilig is voor alle kinderen. Ieder kind heeft recht op onderwijs en moet de kans krijgen zich te ontwikkelen. Deze roep om rechtvaardigheid begint bij dezelfde kansen voor meisjes en jongens. Meisjes worden nog te vaak achtergesteld en gediscrimineerd, soms zelfs bedreigd en mishandeld.
Plan International België maakt deel uit van een ambitieuze internationale federatie met projecten in bijna 80 landen (waaronder België). Met onze projecten genereren we impact, via beleidsbeïnvloeding, sensibilisering en projecten met en voor kinderen en jongeren.
Plan International België is een sterk groeiende organisatie. Tijdens de laatste 5 jaar steeg ons inkomen van 23 miljoen naar 27 miljoen en groeiden we van 40 naar meer dan 65 zeer gedreven collega’s.
Om de straffe ambities van Plan International België nog sterker te vertalen naar een betere toekomst voor kinderen en jongeren, zijn we op zoek naar een enthousiaste en vaardige **Programme Finance Controller**.
**Je rol als Programme Finance Controller**:
Als Programme Finance Controller ben je verantwoordelijk voor het financieel beheer van projecten die bijdragen aan de internationale programmastrategie van Plan International België.
- Je maakt deel uit van een zeer dynamisch en efficiënt team, de Programme Finance and Compliance Unit
- Je ondersteunt de International Programme managers bij de financiële monitoring en controle van een portefeuille van projecten van Plan International België
- Je ondersteunt de ontwikkeling van begrotingen en nieuwe projectvoorstellen die bij institutionele donoren worden ingediend
- Je ontvangt en controleert financiële verslagen en bewijsstukken van een projectportefeuille
- Je bereidt (externe) financiële audits van projecten en programma's voor en begeleidt deze
- Je versterkt de capaciteiten bij medewerkers en uitvoerende partners door middel van training
- Deel uitmakend van de Programme Finance and Compliance Unit ontwikkel en onderhoud je nauwe contacten met je collega's om de gemeenschappelijke doelen te bereiken
- Je rapporteert aan de Head of Unit
**Je profiel**:
**Opleiding**
- Je hebt een bachelor
- of masterdiploma in boekhouding, business administration, finance, economie, handel, projectbeheer of een gelijkwaardig niveau door ervaring.
**Kennis en ervaring**
- Je beschikt over ten minste 5 jaar relevante en bruikbare ervaring in de volgende gebieden: financiële controle, financieel beheer van projecten of financiële rapportage.
- Je hebt een zeer goede beheersing van MS Office en vooral uitstekende Excel-vaardigheden.
- Je spreekt vloeiend Frans en Engels. Je kan je ook schriftelijk goed uitdrukken in deze talen. Kennis van Nederlands heeft een meerwaarde.
**Vaardigheden en attitude**
- Je bent resultaatgericht op een kwalitatieve manier.
- Je hebt zin voor synthese, oog voor details, kan werken met deadlines en bent oplossingsgericht.
- Je beschikt over vaardigheden om personeel in de Plan-kantoren in de partnerlanden en het projectpersoneel van onze uitvoerende NGO-partners te trainen en te begeleiden.
- Je wilt werken voor een NGO en meer specifiek voor deze NGO omdat je gelooft in haar missie. Werkervaring in een NGO is niet noodzakelijk.
- Je bent bereid te reizen om gedurende periodes van ten minste twee weken financiële monitoring en controle op het terrein te verrichten.
