KiOmed Pharma's innovative pipeline is based on a solid building block exclusive technology: KiOmedine®, a medical-grade, highly pure natural chitosan derivative.
**Located in Liège, Belgium, and composed of a fast-growing team, KiOmed Pharma is currently looking for a Finance Controller.**
**Missions**:
The Finance Controller ensures accurate and timely financial reports and analysis to help the CFO and management in its strategic and business decisions. He/She is responsible for accounting and reporting systems and processes, including their continuous improvement. He/She supports the CFO on various strategic and corporate missions and closely cooperates with the accounting department.
**Objectives**:
- Financial Management - in support of the CFO _
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in the closing of accounts and drawing up balance sheets for each activity, in support of the accounting team.
- Ensure the reliability and quality of management information and producing relevant alerts and analyses to anticipate and manage results. Provide strong support on strategic and corporate missions (fund raising, corporate and tax matters,).
- Financial analysis _
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive business performance.
- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the reliability and quality of management information and producing relevant alerts and analyses to anticipate and manage results.
- Perform ad hoc analyses required by department managers to steer operations.
- Information systems _
- Participate in upgrading IT processes and tools.
- Participate in the evaluation process of the ERP project.
**Profile**:
- Master degree in Finance/Business Administration.
- Experience between 3 to 5 years in similar position.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, corporate and taxation laws.
- Good financial modelling skills.
- Ability to analyze and present financial data and advise management on appropriate strategies. Self-motivated and proactive with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with all stakeholders (internal & external).
- Familiarity with and understanding of ERP and financial planning systems.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Languages : French and English.
