POSITION OVERVIEW

The position will be responsible for sales development and management of our distributors in EMEAI region for the Engineering Plastics business. The position will be directly involved in sales development and will be a key player in driving the distribution business forward in the region for these market segments. Position is for a home-based job, preferably located in Germany, Belgium or The Netherlands region. Willing to travel 40% of the time.

TARGETED OUTCOMES
- Manage & future proof shape the EMEAI distribution network
- Increase sales of the overall Ascend portfolio in the EMEAI region.
- Develop customer relationships.

REPORTS TO : Distribution Manager EMEAI

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote and sell the organization’s products and services at existing and new accounts in EMEAI region.
- Manage and develop strategic relationships with selected key distributors.
- Establish annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans and priorities, in terms of volumes and margins, in support of objectives and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
- Develop in-depth relationships with existing and new distributors in the region.
- Gather competitive intelligence, particularly regarding competitor activity, and competitive products and their performance.
- Determine customer feedback and issues and coordinate assistance with appropriate contacts within the organization like Supply Chain or Technology departments.
- Work closely with the Product Management, Technical Service and Application Development to further drive business development within our distribution network.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance and Logistics to achieve the best possible customer service level.
- Assist in devising and implementing pricing strategy.
- Assess the volume forecasts for assigned distributors.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Bachelor degree.
- Minimum 6 years’ of sales experience in the polymer industries.
- Has experience in addressing distributors across multiple markets.
- International business experience.
- Experience in European polymer distribution market is an asset.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- MS Office & CRM.
- Must be team player who is self-motivated & Multi cultural.
- Able to work in a matrix organization.
- Languages: English is a must, Italian or/and German is a big plus.
