**Company: POLITICO**
POLITICO is seeking an experienced audio producer to join our growing newsroom in Brussels.
This is a unique opportunity to work on our flagship European politics podcast EU Confidential and to grow the reach and impact of our audio offering for listeners in the EU capital.
A deep interest in European politics, particularly the EU, is required.

The position is a full-time role based in Brussels.
**What You’ll Do**
- Overseeing and executing the end-to-end production of EU Confidential
- Deputizing for POLITICO’s executive producer when needed
- Conceptualizing episode content, researching and formulating prep sheets
- Coaching hosts, guests and contributors in on-air delivery
- Recording interviews in studio or in the field
- Mixing down interviews, editing audio, selecting clips and mastering audio
- Sourcing sound from archives or by other means
- Writing show notes and scripts
- Booking guests and coordinating recordings
- Helping to identify and create content for show promotion
- Having a command of podcast publishing platforms and back-end data processes
**What You’ll Need**
- Audio producer with at least 5 years of experience working on an audio team
- Skilled audio editor (Adobe audition or equivalent)
- Experience recording and setting up technical equipment
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work under pressure and on deadline
- A keen interest and knowledge of EU/European politics
