We are looking for an Immigration Consultant / Mobility Advisor to join our Luxembourg team. This is a permanent, full-time position that will be based in our Brussels office.

About you
You are an enthusiastic team player who knows that being a technical expert means that you never stop learning. You will also need to enjoy direct client contact and have a strong commitment to excellent client service.

You will also not be intimidated by a shifting geo-political landscape, or the sudden change that comes with Brexit, the COVID-19 health crisis and the most recent situation in Ukraine, but rather you relish the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and support clients through difficult situations with technical and creative solutions.
You will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills in English and demonstrated ability to manage your own time and caseload.
You have a Master’s degree, preferably specializing in Law/Legal Services or Political Sciences, and 2+ years of experience in business immigration managing a portfolio of clients and diverse projects. Broader global mobility experience in a field such as HR, tax, social security is highly desirable.
About the role
The immigration Consultant / Mobility Advisor is responsible for providing immigration services to a range of clients. We entrust our Consultants with early responsibilities comprising of managing client projects, onboarding new clients, developing case strategy, delivery of client training and internal training, writing articles and blogposts.
Training is provided to Immigration Consultants on a regular basis, and you will be working together with Attorneys and Seniors Consultants that will support you in your day-to-day work. Managers will be overseeing your work performance and will make sure you have what you need to grow.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Keeping key clients up to date with developments in local immigration law/processes.- Coordinating additional services with other internal teams.- Exercising judgement in identifying case issues and vulnerabilities. Senior consultants will be the first point of contact for minor escalations.- Answering existing and prospective client queries, hosting consultation calls when applicable.- Document reviewing.- Ad-hoc project work to streamline/improve processes.- Overseeing billing for own cases.
