Our goal is to develop innovative processes and contribute to sustainability challenges. With a well-equipped laboratory and extensive expertise, we offer customized solutions to our clients. Anticipating strong growth in the coming years, we are seeking motivated individuals who want to grow with us and make their mark on our organization.
As a microbial process technologist at KorallionBio, you work on the development and optimization of bioprocesses using microalgae and cyanobacteria. Your responsibilities include:
- Contributing to research and development projects focused on creating high-quality biomaterials from microorganisms.
- Designing and optimizing fermentation processes in our state-of-the-art bioreactors, including cultivating microalgae and cyanobacteria at various scales.
- Conducting basic analyses to ensure the quality and efficiency of our solutions.
- Establishing and meticulously following safety tests.
- Documenting methods and results punctually.
- Proactively contributing to new solutions and participating in innovative deep tech projects. Out-of-the-box thinking is a crucial aspect of this role.
**Your Profile**:
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related discipline, or have equivalent experience.
- You possess an entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset.
- You are curious, proactive, and driven to contribute to sustainable solutions.
- Language proficiency: Dutch or English is essential; French is a plus.
