The Client, in partnership with other Commission services and stakeholders, provides high-quality corporate solutions/information systems, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies. In close collaboration with other Commission services and its customers, the Client builds and operates solutions in the areas of Legislation, Policy, and Human Resources. Amongst the solutions provided:

- HR solutions: SYSPER, e-Sire, NDP;
- Financial rights solutions: NAP, Assmal2, MiPS, Sermed, PABS;
- Document management solutions: ARES, HAN;
- Decision-making process solutions: DECIDE, ECI, etc.

The solution assignment may change over time, according to the portfolio/project/service needs.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The following tasks will be performed:

- Technical support line 2 (mainly in **Oracle**) regarding the use of information systems
- Release notes of the information systems
- High-level testing of the information systems (service to developer teams)
- Maintenance of the Knowledge Database

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

The minimum educational qualification is the level of education corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a** bachelor’s degree** of 3 years.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

The following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above-listed tasks:

- Good IT skills in particular **Oracle SQL and PL/SQL **and basic** Unix**:

- Excellent communication/writing skills
- Able to cope with the needs of multi-language site deployment
- Knowledge of **end-user assistance or support of information systems**:

- Good knowledge of **ITIL**:

- Knowledge of **wikis, collaborative sites, and social networks**:

- Good **reporting** skills
- The capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability, and experience in working in a team
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings; good communication skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment, on multiple large projects
- Excellent Team Player
- The ability to understand, speak and write French and English (B2 level for both) is needed

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
- Knowledge of** Oracle SQL **and/or** PL/SQL (min. 3 years of experience)**
