Your Profile:
- Education: Master degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering
- Advanced knowledge of data/reporting tools - any knowledge of VBA for Excel or Power BI is a plus
- Highly developed ability to be critical with facts and figures - enjoy working with numbers and manipulating several data sources
- Ability to plan your work according to deadlines
- Self-starter attitude, taking initiative and not afraid of responsibility
- Sense of ownership and confidentiality
- Flexible team player with hands-on mentality
- Mature interpersonal skills supporting smooth consensus building
- Fluent English is a must, other languages are assets

Your team and your responsibilities:
**Team/division description**
Do you want to take part in the development of the car of tomorrow? The Purchasing team at Toyota Motor Europe is able to offer you this challenge. Located in the heart of Europe our department plays a key strategic role in the development of our future products. As an intern in Purchasing you will be able to participate in the development and manage certain aspects of the commercial relationship between Toyota and its suppliers, located all over Europe. Moreover, this position will allow you to have an insight in the most recent technical innovations and will enable you to get a deep understanding of how a leading multinational operates and interacts with numerous internal and external parties.
Main area of involvement will be with the commodities buyers and engineers for Wire harness and Electronics.
**Your project / Involvement**:
- Develop and execute regular price audits
- Develop and maintain raw material price index database
- Further develop a cost information retrieval macro in excel (VBA)
- Develop various document standard templates
- Perform should be price investigations with assistance of Buyers
- Report regularly on the progress of ongoing projects to Buyers and Senior Management
- Support to establish and implement our risk management strategies for Semi conductor impact.
