**Head of Research & Innovation**
**Wat je belangrijkste taken zijn**
Verantwoordelijk voor het plannen, organiseren en opvolgen van de R&I-activiteiten voor collectieve onderzoeksprojecten en individuele dienstverlening aan bedrijven.
- Aansturen, coachen en verder ontwikkelen van een team van een tiental hooggekwalificeerde R&I medewerkers
- Zorgen dat de R&I activiteiten binnen de vooraf bepaalde timing, budget en strategische doelstellingen gerealiseerd worden
- Afstemmen van de werking van het R&I-team met de andere departementen
- Strategisch meedenken over de toekomst van de hout
- en meubelindustrie
- Beheren van de onderzoeksbudgetten in samenspraak met de General Manager
- Rapporteren aan de General Manager
**Wat we van jou verwachten**
- Masterdiploma met een voldoende brede basis voor deze functie
- Ervaring binnen onderzoek en ontwikkeling in een leidinggevende functie
- Een brede wetenschappelijke en technologische interesse in thema’s zoals houttechnologie, houtbouw, innovatie, circulaire economie, klimaatverandering, digitalisering, industrie 4.0,
- Een enthousiast motivator en organisator die bedrijven weet warm te maken voor de onderzoeksprojecten en activiteiten
- Bij voorkeur Nederlands en Frans kunnen spreken en een goede kennis van het Engels. Je beschikt over een vlotte pen
