We are seeking a Sustainability Coordinator to join our Regional Environmental and Safety Office (RESO) team within the Service, Quality and Environmental (SQE) division, where you would be based in Zaventem, Belgium, OR in Budapest, Hungary.

In this role you will focus on sustainability advocacy, always aiming to bring all collaborators along on the sustainability journey. A vital part of your position with see you continuing to work on developing ECO Labels for our products, which give you access to collaborate with every product department and perform LCA (Lifecycle Assessments). You will also co-lead the Sustainability Ambassadors activities across Sony Europe (with c130 members signed up, and 40 active members).

You will support with Questionnaires for any tenders, providing the information needed to satisfy requirements. Lastly, we would love you to join us in developing an exciting project to launch our ‘Environmental Lab’, which will be a showcase for what Sony Europe has been doing for the Environment in an engaging way, and designed for both internal / external engagement, with the plan to build this out to a broader educational program about wider environmental impact.

You will:
- Assist on certification process towards acquisition process of external eco-labels.- Co-lead Sustainability Ambassadors team, an internal group championing sustainability effort all over Sony European sites.- Provide routine maintenance and updates to internal sustainability microsites reflecting new stories, achievements or progress.- Translate Sony’s sustainability journey to internal teams, ensuring all lines of business have the latest and most relevant information;- Support in internal and external events to ensure all stakeholders are inspired and engaged on Sony sustainability goals.- Liaise on responses on Sony’s sustainability performance to tenders, press inquiries, market requests.

You will bring:
- Knowledge and passion for Sustainability- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to inspire and raise awareness- Comfortable working in an international environment and adapting to differing cultural styles- Proactive and solution driven mindset- Fluency in English is a must (any other European language is a plus)

Your new office

Our office in Zaventem is designed to connect people with our newly installed bar, gym and breakout room to play darts or PS5. The office is next to the airport/train station (connected with a free shuttle), the bicycle highway to Brussels/Leuven (a true added value for employees that make use of the bicycle leasing program) and of course a parking space with electric chargers.
