**YOUR TASKS**
- Research in the development of low-cost electrode to be used on water treatment.
- You will be responsible for testing the performance of titanium-based materials.
- Mentor/guide PhD students and/or master thesis students in our labs.
- Collaborate with academia and industrial partners.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- You hold a Master’s degree or a thesis-based doctorate in the field of Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, or equivalent.
- You have Research experience on:

- Materials for water treatment
- Inorganic Chemistry
- Electrochemistry
- Surface engineering
- You should be fluent in English, have good collaborative skills and ability to communicate your results in writing and presentations.
- Have the ability to perform in-depth and critical data analysis.
- Have the ability to write detailed scientific technical reports.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members from different backgrounds and in different research areas.

**WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU**
- We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period of 1/10/2024 - 31/12/2024.
- Your contract will start on 1/10/2024 at the earliest.
- Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4 (if you hold a Master’s degree) or salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate). Click here for more information about our salary scales.
