To strengthen our **EU Neurology and Rare Diseases team**, based **in Belgium, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy or France**, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of **EU Access and HEOR Solutions Lead**:
**The** **EU Access and HEOR Solutions Lead will be responsible for ensuring UCB’s ambition of access to all patients who need our products. You will represent an important region for sales growth and broadened patient access for UCB’s extensive pipeline of products with a focus on the rare disease assets. You will work together with country national and subnational access teams to co-create operational, but impactful solutions to enhance the broader patient access ensuring the operationalisation of the EU Market Access strategy.**

- Align the market access strategy for Rare disease assets ensuring strategic alignment between global & local Market Access teams, and between Business & Market Access through close collaboration with the Immunology EU strategic operations team.
- Lead the operationalization of global value material (e.g. DAR, GVD, Payer value proposition, Objection Handler, Economic Models) in line with RDO (Rare disease organisation) market access, medical and commercial strategy based on local needs & insights.
- Orchestrate the affiliate activities for Rare diseases and support the local teams (Access and External Engagement team, access field facing team) with recurrent updating meeting and with a platform of Payer Value solutions that can be further customized at national, sub-national or local account level.
- Represent the Access perspective in all business meetings and act as a key point of contact within the EU RDO Strategic Operations team (EU Engine).
- Foster excellence in launch execution, in sub-national access pull through and in maintaining access and prices overtime.
- Ensure, together with the Mission, that Areas have all the tools/support needed for a access maintenance e.g. Value communication toolkits & Access strategy related trainings, Negotiation Strategy Playbook, Health economic modeling/VBA/contracting strategy tools for national and sub national access.
- Review operational plans/tactics, support effective preparation and implementation of Access strategies together with the Areas.
- Create focus by helping and challenging areas on subnational activities and driving quarterly best practices sharing meeting across area in order to fast trigger innovative access solutions and generate cross fertilization.
- Contribute the access perspective into the EU Brand Planning together with the Strategic Operations team.
- Support local teams in building new competencies (HEOR) and negotiation skills.
**Your experience and requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Access, health economics or an allied field
- Extensive experience working withing Market Access within the Pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of European Healthcare systems and Payer archetypes (EU5)
- Proven expertise to translate strategy into actionable tactics in the EU 4 ecosystem
- Experience within Product positioning optimisation, value proposition development, evidence strategy, product launch and launch excellence
- Payer engagement and negotiation at national and sub national levels
- Operational access and pricing experience - objective strategy and execution plans
- Designing clinical, humanistic and economic evidence and evaluation to demonstrate product value
- Leadership experience within a Global capacity
- Rare diseases experience preferred
