We are looking for an **Digital Clinical Solutions Lead** to join us in our **IT Digital Clinical Operations team**
**About the role**
The IT Digital Clinical Solutions Lead is a global role leading and influencing various digital business transformation initiatives within the “Human Centric Health (HcH)” program across the UCB clinical trials study portfolio. The role will keenly focus on implementing digital solutions such as digital apps, wearables, medical devices, virtual trials, etc. that allow new clinical data collection methods by the patient and site supporting study endpoint measurements and outcomes. The main value drivers are improving data quality, access, insights generations, and enhancing the patient and site experiences in a clinical trial.
**Who’ll you’ll work with**
This individual will work with various business stakeholders (clinical, medical device, commercial, etc.) and will collaborate with various IT teams (app engineering, security, validation, infrastructure, etc.) to ensure proper operationalization, scaling, and adoption across the company.
**What you’ll do**
- Implement various digital clinical solution systems in accordance to GxP standards and regulations within the clinical study timelines.
- Ensure that all technology systems meet all the respective regulations (including but not limited to GCP, GVP,) for the global reach of UCB clinical development pipeline
- Ensure that all projects deliverables are implemented in line with the overall clinical study timelines or as directed by leadership
- Ensure smooth operations of the digital clinical data collection in the on-going trials (incl. yet not limited to app availability, data integrity,)
- Ensure that the new technology & process (digital business transformation) are successfully adopted by the relevant stakeholders
- Define the impact of the program, measure the impact, and implement the appropriate change to ensure delivery of the impact
- Stay on top of the tech trends (example, artificial intelligence, automation, etc.) and business trends and influence where needed to ensure that the new technologies & business trends are included in the program
- Prepare and manage the budget for the area of responsibility in line with UCB finance process
**Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills**
- 5+ years of experience in clinical digital technologies, such as mobile apps, wearable devices, medical devices, cloud computing, data analytics, etc.
- Familiarity with the tools and platforms used to design, develop, and deploy digital solutions, such as programming languages, frameworks, APIs, databases, etc.
- Prior experience ensuring the security, quality, and compliance of digital solutions, as well as the protection of data privacy
- Good understanding of the clinical trial processes and regulations, such as GCP, HIPAA, GDPR, etc. with the ability to define and execute the digital solutions strategy and roadmap for clinical trials, as well as manage the budget, timeline, and deliverables of digital solutions projects
