Luminus is building a full new gas-fired power plant in Seraing in line with the Capacity Market (CRM). This gas-fired power plant (870 MW) owned by Luminus Seraing 2.0 (LSG*) will be the most powerful and efficient in Europe.
This new CCGT will be led by the Plant manager who will report to the Luminus Corporate Director Production.
**Mission**
- The Plant manager will be responsible for the recruitment, setting up and training of the new plant team.
- With his/her teams, the Plant Manager is end accountable for the good execution of the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contract. It includes:
- the design and staffing of the O&M organization as well as the implementation of the O&M systems and governance,
- the coordination and decision-making during emergency situations, and also the support and decision-making on daily technical matters,
- the management of the LTSA contract on behalf of LSG,
- the respect of the CRM contract functioning rules and of the Tolling agreement,
- the management of EPC contract post COD (defect notification period, warranty period, 10-year liability period of EPC contractor).
- The Plant manager will ensure the plant's operation with optimal industrial and financial performance
- The role of the Plant Manager is to ensure the best-in-class operation and maintenance of the plant by developing a continuous improvement approach.
As such, he/she bears full accountability for achieving the objectives and KPI’s.
- He/she has to set up and review the long term strategy of the power plant and, once approved, implement it.
- Management of all internal and external stakeholders (co-investor, local & regional authorities, neighbors, unions, support departments,) is also part of his/her mission.
- The Plant manager is accountable for HSE, Cyber security and legal compliance
- On top, he/she has also to provide the required reporting to the Managing Director of LSG. The plant manager contributes in the Board of Directors (Board) meetings.
- The plant manager is responsible for the relation with the Tollers.
LSG = Luminus Seraing 2.0 (subsidiary company of Luminus, owner of the plant)
LTSA = Long Term Service Agreement with General Electric company
EPC = Engineering Procurement and Construction
COD = Commercial Operation Date
**Knowledge and experience**
- Master degree in engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power generation business
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing teams and social dialog
- Fundamental knowledge of financial aspects
- Experience in change management (organization)
- Experience in contract management

- Inspiring (create a positive dynamic), coaching & motivating skills
