**Context of need**
John Cockerill Energy is today acting as an OEM for either EPC contractors or Utility companies. We deliver boilers adapted to gas turbines, industrial boilers, solar receivers for solar concentration power plant; the production, storage and distribution of renewable hydrogen and the storage of energy with integrated green electricity production-storage-management units. We are present on all continents and sell on a worldwide basis. Our main office is in Belgium with branches in USA and Mexico.
The aftersales department in Belgium will have this year a turnover of +/- 16.000.000 Euros and 20 persons (mainly engineers) are working in the department.
The department provides a wide range of technical services, inspections, expertise, upgrade and revamping of powers and petrochemical plant components.
**_Our main activities are_**
- Boiler inspections that allow the best diagnosis and draw up the most adequate durable corrective solution
- HRSG dry ice cleaning by CO² which helps to improve efficiency of equipment and reduce any risk of corrosion or tube damage
- Remaining Life Time Assessment (RLTA) : operation parameter analysis, replica, inspections, calculations diagnostics and evolutions
- Re-engineering of existing designs for any boiler manufacturer
- Ducting, insulation re-engineering, expansion joint, diverter damper, diffuser, silencer including Computer Flow Dynamics (CFD)
- Burner upgrades
- Pressure parts improvements for recurrent failures occurring on any boiler including complete heat exchangers replacement and performance upgrades
- Engineering and installation of specific equipment on any boiler in operation, e.g. adding SCR, burners, a lift, soot blowers
- Calculation of boiler new performance with gas turbine upgrades, process modification, thermal performance calculation, customized service for feasibility study,
- Seismic design, piping behaviour analysis and flexibility study
- Cycling operation capability analysis
- Supply of genuine spare parts
- In order to strengthen the development of its worldwide After Sales activities, John Cockerill is looking for a new _**_Sales and Technical Manager_**_ to develop and increase its Market share around the World._
**Nature & Scope**
Reporting to the Head of After Sales department of John Cockerill Energy in the HQ in Seraing in Belgium, he will be responsible to lead the development of our After Sales activities around the world. He will lead business development activities, defining technical and sales proposals with the support of Belgium Head Office.
**Main duties**
**_The Sales & Technical area representative will be responsible for _**:
- Participate to the elaboration of John Cockerill After Sales strategy and product development roadmap
- Develop After Sales activities, identify and develop new business opportunities, build customers and partners relationships, enter into commercial agreements
- Develop adequate technical, commercial solution to customers and End users
- Lead the preparation of commercial offers by adequate analysis terms & conditions, with inputs from the wider team (technical, finance, legal )
- Negotiate and close agreements in collaboration with HQ, including sales contracts, partnership agreements, joint development agreements and financing agreements
- Implement and facilitate the project execution with the support of team from head office, follow and support on the payments collection
- Monitor and follow closely market evolutions
- Prepare and participate to internal John Cockerill approval process for new binding commercial commitments
- Represent the company at various external events.
- Develop and manage relationships with clients, suppliers and partners
**Your Profile**
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in business or commercial roles in an international context with good skills in contractual, sales review Terms & Conditions
- A successful Technical experience in energy, ideally in boilers and burners (HRSG, conventional water tubes boiler, WHRB, biomass boilers )
- Solid sales experience on project development and commercial activities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, business acumen, autonomous and driven
- Fluency in English. French and Spanish will be an asset
