Role Overview
Lead the design, development, and implementation of compensation programs (fixed and short-term compensation programs on a Global scale). Lead on Executive Compensation design, implementation and support on RemCo and Annual Report related elements. Accountable for the success of compensation practice in Solvay in supporting our Employee Value Proposition to attract and retain the very best talent.
**Mission Outputs**
- Design Reward standards, policies and frameworks covering the fixed and short-term Compensation programs (fixed, short, including sales);
- Coordinate the implementation of Global standards, policies and frameworks in close collaboration with the Business Partners, Country HR communities and Shared Services Organization;
- Provide support on all regulatory and governance elements related to the Remuneration Committee, Board presentations on Remuneration and the Annual report.
- Co-ordinate the Remuneration Report to be included in the Annual report, including supporting on shareholder interactions
- In the context of Power of Two - lead the reward response to separating Reward policies, practices and frameworks and propose relevant and business-focused design on all compensation elements in line with the Corporate aims of the NewCos
- Monitoring trends and design new solutions to drive continuous improvement of the Global standards in support of Groups & People strategies;
- Lead the annual compensation campaign ( budgeting, pay structure design, communication & coordination);
- Contribute to evolution of pay for performance programs;
- Oversee the communication of related standards, policies, frameworks(and changes);
- Lead and coordinate Global pay audits and similar projects
- Work closely with the Shared Business Services (SBS) team to ensure that administrative work is moved into the SBS team to free up time for the Reward team to focus on adding value
**Education and Experience**:
- At least five to eight years experience in Compensation function in multinational environment,
- Business Partner mindset and broader HR experience - particularly business partnering or talent management (Advantage)
- Track record of successful Reward program design and implementation
- Demonstrated experience and exposure in an international and matrixed working environment
- Experience in successfully managing high level stakeholders
- Digital literacy and savviness
- Project management experience
- English (mandatory - working language), French (advantage)

- Demonstrated flexibility and agility in meeting the needs of the business within the parameters of the Reward framework
