**Over de functie**:
als Telecom Expert kom je in een uitdagende functie waarin je jouw technische kennis en verantwoordelijkheid kunt inzetten voor het specifieke domein van telecom. Als lid van het team Expertise Secondary Systems draag je bij aan de ontwikkeling, uitbreiding en renovatie van het elektriciteitstransmissienet van 30 tot 380 kV. Jouw takenpakket omvat verschillende verantwoordelijkheden.

Een belangrijk aspect van jouw rol is het opstellen van technische standaarden, specificaties en oplossingen voor investeringsprojecten. Je bent ook verantwoordelijk voor het technisch beheer van de bestaande raamakkoorden en je speelt een actieve rol bij Europese aanbestedingsprocedures voor nieuwe raamakkoorden. Dit omvat het uitvoeren van marktverkenningen, opstellen van technische specificaties, analyseren van offertes en het onderhouden van contacten met leveranciers.

Je werkt nauw samen met de projectteams en biedt hen technische ondersteuning en advies. Daarnaast ben je betrokken bij het ontwerpen en verzorgen van technische opleidingen voor de operationele entiteiten om ervoor te zorgen dat het team goed opgeleid is en op de hoogte blijft van de nieuwste ontwikkelingen.

Je zult je richten op het "passieve" gedeelte van de telecomapparatuur. Dit omvat materialen voor optische vezelverbindingen zoals optische vezelkabels, HDPE-buizen, optische vezel patchpanelen/patchcords, alsook koper ethernetverbindingen, 19-inch kasten en de interface tussen Secundaire Systemen en actieve telecommunicatieapparatuur.

**Functie eisen**:

- Burgerlijk of industrieel ingenieur.
- Je kunt je zowel mondeling als schriftelijk uitdrukken in Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
- Je zoekt pragmatische oplossingen en je bent klant
- en resultaatsgericht.
- Je kunt vlot in team werken, bent communicatief aangelegd en beschikt over een goede overtuigingskracht.
- Je beschikt over sterke analytische en synthetiserende competenties zodat je een complexe materie op heldere wijze kan overbrengen (zowel mondeling als schriftelijk).
- Je beheert zelfstandig en proactief het vooraf overeengekomen takenpakket.
- Grondige kennis van MS Office is een pluspunt.
- Je hebt enkele jaren werkervaring
- Je hebt een “experten profiel”:

- Je bent bereid om diepgaande kennis op te bouwen binnen een specifiek domein (in dit geval telecom).
- Je bent bereid om nieuwe kennis te vergaren over nieuwe technologieën/toepassingen.
- Je zal zelf pro-actief op zoek gaan om je kennis te vergroten.
