**Your role & work environment**
ING Lease is the market leader in the Belgian financial leasing market and offers clients a complete service for the leasing of assets for professional use: sales, back office and after care. With My ING Lease, it also shows itself as a real innovator in the sector. ING Lease is the preferred partner for Renewable Energy lease projects in the Belgian market. By financing solar, wind energy and other sustainable projects ING Lease is an important contributor to the transition to sustainable energy.
As Account Manager Renewable Energy, you are the ambassador and first point of contact on behalf of ING Lease for all matters relating to sustainability and renewable energy projects and ING Lease related customer portfolio. You create visibility in the market and in the distribution channels Business Banking and Wholesale Banking within ING Belgium. You contribute to the planned growth in production and profitability, while respecting the strategy and guidelines of ING Lease. You report to the Head of Real Estate Lease and Renewable Energy.
**Your key responsibilities**
- You (pro)actively manage your client portfolio by:
- having prospect/client meetings and presentations/sales pitches
- analyzing and evaluating the customer’s needs
- translating them in an attractive ING Lease proposal
- assessing and valuating projects, preparing the creditpackage and defending it in the credit committee
- negotiating and closing the deal
- ensuring a smooth execution of the deal
- As an ambassador, you actively represent ING Lease at internal and external events (including giving presentations).
- You encourage the ING Business centers and relationship managers to promote and sell ING Lease in order to attain the commercial objectives.
- You provide continuous development/trainings for the relationship managers of ING Belgium.
- You propose new commercial initiatives to be implemented together with the team.
- You build expertise in the continuous evolution of the sustainable, circular economy and specialized leasing matters: technical, tax, legal, markets trends
- Last but not least, you build and develop a solid and trusting relationship with the customer, while striving for a perfect balance between customer satisfaction, profitability and customer risk.

As Account Manager Renewable Energy you will also need:
- a master degree or equivalent by experience
- at least 3-5 years experience in a sales function in a business environment
- proven track record in renewable energy is an asset
- strong negotiation skills on CEO/CFO level
- excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and in French, good oral and written skills in English
You are:
- a dealmaker, commercial by nature, but nevertheless risk aware
- client driven and able to translate the client’s needs in an added-value proposition
- at ease in Business Banking business environments
- a real team player who is used to working independently
- a good communicator
- well organized and stress resistant
- capable of building an internal and external network to generate business
- ready to be an ING Lease promotor internally and externally
