**Education required**: You are regularly **enrolled** in a Bachelor/Master in life science (biotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry) in an Educational Establishment located in Europe.

**Language requirement**: Fluent French and English

**Other requirements**: Experience in a lab environment focusing on analytics of biomolecules is a plus. Good organizational skills and team work are important.

**Expected start date**: June 1st 2024

**Duration**:8 to 10 weeks

**Work arrangements**:remote work not allowed

**Requisite**: The internship must be mandatory & done in the framework of the curriculum, for which an agreement must be signed between GSK, the student and the Educational Establishment.

**Remuneration**: according to Belgian legal requirements, the internship will not be paid. However, some expenses will be reimbursed.

Within the Analytical Development Department, the Immunoassay Platform is in charge of development qualification and validation of modern, state-of-the-art immunological assay methods to analyze vaccine products (Proteins, VLP, RNA,..) at all stages of vaccines development.

The hired intern will be in charge of conducting development/routine analysis related to process optimization or early development activities. He/she will work in close collaboration with the expert scientist and will participate to development analysis.

**What will you do?**
- _You work at the bench in the labs (> 80%)._
- _ You execute analytical methods for the determination of specific CQA._
- _ You are agile principles driven._
- _ You have good writing skills and are fluent in French._
- _ You analyze and interpret data with the help of the expert scientist. _
- _You contribute to the various activities of the group (housekeeping, )_

**What are we looking for?**:

- _You have good technical skills._
- _ Some experience in immunoassay is a plus._
- _ You have a strong attention for details, are eager to learn and driven by curiosity._
