**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- A higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years’ post-related experience;
- OR alternatively, a secondary educational qualification with 4 years’ post-related experience;
- Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA A+) or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP);
- Proven experience working with:

- MS System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM);
- MS Active Directory Group Objects, user accounts, and permissions;
- 2 years' experience:

- Working in an ICT CIS environment;
- Supporting IT users, desktop hardware and software;
- Working in an IT administration role;
- Knowledge of:

- Capabilities and deployment of PCs;
- Current operating systems and office automation software;
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations:

- Focusing on customer needs and satisfaction;
- Setting high standards for quality and quantity;
- Monitoring and maintaining quality and productivity;

**Desirable**:

- Prior experience working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including Allied Command Operations (ACO) and Allied Command Transformation (ACT);
- Knowledge of another NATO language.

**Duties/role**:

- Ensuring, through close collaboration and coordination with internal and external customers, that the Agency's IT services meet the end user's requirements;
- Making Purchase Requests and making sure local stock and an overview of the present stock are available;
- Creating and following up on new purchases through the financial system EBA;
- Aligning with Registry for transportation;
- Supporting and maintaining end point protection on client devices and their infrastructure;
- Providing 2nd and 3rd Line IT Service Desk support remotely or on site for client devices such as workstations, laptops, and smart phones;
- Supporting and maintaining remote access and VPN technologies for client devices;
- Installing, maintaining, and operating a full range of computing, printing, and network devices required to deliver systems and services for customer office automation;
- Installing and configuring:

- COTS software on networked and standalone workstations;
- Network client software on LAN workstations;
- Configuring local server software and special peripheral devices;
- Creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting user access issues for static and mobile devices;
- Working with:

- Organisational Units in MS Active Directory and Group Policy;
- McAfee ePO on the Data Los Prevention access list;
- Executing support requests, work orders, and other tasks;
- Preparing software packages for automatic deployment;
- Contributing to:

- IT security compliance and remediation;
- Incident, change, configuration, and asset management processes through an ITSM toolkit;
- Performing:

- Security compliance patching of workstations and servers;
- Monthly patching of workstations and servers;
- Maintaining and setting the user ACL for Shared Network and Group Mailbox;
- Working with smart card or USB tokens to authenticate users and access domains securely;
- Performing other duties as may be required.
