The degree programme International Business Management (IBM) is an English-taught bachelor’s degree programme. The programme has 3 specialisations: Global Business, International Entrepreneurship and Global Supply Chain Management. We are looking for a coordinator, a lecturer for Personal Development and Professional Development and an internship coach. There is a possibility to combine this vacancy with other vacancies in the degree programme.

Your role
As a coordinator/lecturer, you will contribute to the growth process of our students as driven professionals. You reflect on new learning content and teaching methods, coach students as part of their learning process, give feedback and evaluate their growth.
Your duties:
- You are involved in the day-to-day coordination of International Business Management.
- You oversee curriculum development and implementation of changes according to our programme’s competence profile.
- You are involved in projects that contribute to the quality management of the degree programme.
- You coach 3rd year Global Business students during their
- You teach Personal Development to 1st year students and Professional Development to 2nd year students.
- You encourage and support students to develop themselves and to achieve the desired competencies. You seek solutions to deal with diversity within student groups in a result-oriented manner.
- You provide students with feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
- You teach on one of our campuses: Groenplaats, Stadswaag, Pothoek.
**Profile**:
- You have a strong understanding of the business world and can use your knowledge and experience to provide customised guidance to students.
- You have the ability to take on the role of a coach and to guide students in their learning process.
- You can translate your acquired expertise into a tailored teaching approach. You know how to motivate
- You have a strong ability for networking. You can liaise with a variety of people.
- You are a team player. You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
- You are convinced of the importance of lifelong learning and stay up to date with new developments, incorporating them into your teaching methods. Educational innovation and innovative teaching methods are also topics that you will be happy to delve into.
- You have minimum 2 years of teaching experience. Ideally, you have experience in soft skills training.
- You have worked in an international environment.
In addition, you hold a Master’s degree in HR Management or a business-related field.
The English-taught degree programmes at KdG require a C1 diploma for English. As a non-native Dutch speaker, you have a B2 for Dutch or are willing to acquire it as soon as possible.

- A part-time assignment as a contractual employee. You start on 1 September 2024 with a contract for one year, with the intention of extending (after positive evaluation).

- As a Master’s degree holder, you are paid a salary according to the pay scale for a lecturer (502). Click here for more information. Please note that useful professional experience outside education may be taken into account to determine your seniority.
- We reimburse 100% of your travel expenses if you use public transport for your commute. You will be paid a €0.21/ km bicycle allowance if you commute by bike.
