As the CAPEX Project Manager, your role is to organize CAPEX projects (exceeding €15 million) for Nutreco's Business Units. Imagine being at the helm, ensuring these projects not only meet but exceed scope, budget, and schedule expectations, all while upholding top-notch quality, HSE, and internal controls standards. As a vital player in Nutreco’s Industrial Projects team, you will be collaborating closely with business stakeholders in order to define and launch projects. Your responsibilities include overseeing a local project team, and skillfully managing day-to-day operations on-site. **Job description**

In the Project Preparation and Planning Stage, the focus is on aligning project goals with business stakeholder needs. This involves challenging and clarifying project requirements, planning, and budgeting comprehensively, assigning responsibilities within the project team, and providing detailed schedules. During Project Execution, the manager coordinates internal and external parties, ensuring consistency with project baselines and managing changes through a structured process. Adherence to Nutreco policies and regulatory requirements, along with a commitment to construction safety, is paramount. Further, in Project Monitoring, Control, and Reporting, the manager analyzes, determines, and oversees a Project Management Plan. Monitoring and controlling the budget, time, organization, resources, quality, and risks are essential, with corrective actions taken as needed. Finally, in the Project Hand Over phase, the focus shifts to ensuring a seamless transition of projects to business stakeholders. This includes providing project documentation, completing commissioning activities, defining potential follow-up actions, and ensuring transparency and accessibility of project results for relevant stakeholders.

**What you’ll do**
- Oversee HSE management to meet project specific KPIs, promoting safety awareness, safe designs, and contractor compliance.
- Implement NIP project management processes and Nutreco standards, collaborating with the NIP Regional Project Manager and PMO Lead.
- Maintain strong relationships with local business stakeholders, providing regular updates for Steering Committee and stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure successful project delivery by leading discussions with consultants and contractors, defining scope, and managing team assignments.
- Manage escalations from the local project team, promptly escalating issues to the NIP Regional Project Manager.
- Handle project permitting activities, support stakeholders in obtaining permits, and manage land selection and acquisition if applicable.
- Challenge project scope through value engineering, life cycle analysis, and innovative solutions to enhance Nutreco's value.

**What you bring**
- Minimum 8 years of CAPEX project management experience (>€10M), preferably in animal/aquafeed, food, FMCG, or fine chemicals.
- Proven track record in end-to-end management of at least one greenfield site project.
- Expertise in managing contracts (Design & Build, Design-Bid-Build) and leading design development processes.
- Educational background in Engineering, fluent in English, and excellent communication skills with project teams and senior management.
- Proficient in MS Office tools, MS Project, and AutoCAD. Additional beneficial factors include Operations-related experience, global work exposure, multilingualism, and PMP certification.
