**Job alert - We’re looking for a Programme Manager**
The European Business Summit (EBS) is a renowned organisation that creates and supports networking and debating events in Brussels, including its biggest and most prestigious event - the European Business Summit. Our main goal is to bring business and politics together and to stimulate thinking on the most challenging European issues. Through its events and publications, EBS delivers an inspired and informed contribution to policy-making in Europe.
We are looking for a Programme Manager to lead and support the delivery of an ambitious programme of engagement between businesses, policy makers and civil society experts. As a Programme Manager, you will provide strategic leadership to projects in your area, ensure the successful delivery of events and profile EBS programmes for maximum impact.
It’s a role with a strong emphasis on project management and impact, and an opportunity for a young professional to join a dynamic and multicultural team at the heart of Brussels.
Main responsibilities
- Plan and organise programmes and related activities, and monitor progress;
- Develop the content strategy and operating plans;
- Coordinate people and projects as well as their interdependencies;
- Manage the projects’ documentations and reporting;
- Represent EBS towards external stakeholders and act as main focal point for the projects under your responsibility;
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the programme team.
**Profile**:
- 2-3 years experience with programme/project management;
- Good knowledge and understanding of EU policies and institutions;
- A proactive team player with excellent organisational and communication skills;
- Can-do attitude and strong motivation, topped with an ability to work autonomously and implement new initiatives;
- Analytical and critical thinking;
- Fluency in English, including excellent drafting skills, and French;
- Relevant university degree;
- Legally eligible to work in Belgium.
