YOUR FUTURE JOB

We are looking for someone who is not just a manager, but a results-driven evangelist with passion and an entrepreneurial spirit who can galvanize our teams, captivate our customers (OEMs and Tiers) across the world, and push the boundaries of what is possible while driving transformative changes.

More specifically, you will have the following accountabilities:

- **Market Awareness**:

- Actively drive market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and secure business expansion from the SIA scope;
- Analyze OEMs and Tiers needs, market, portfolio, competitive situation and derive adequate measures and strategies on possible chipset needs/development;
- Maintain awareness of competition (position in the market, product development etc.).
- ** Business Development**: Enable the best positioning and strategy of Melexis product lines in the assigned market, including especially:

- Construct, update and monitor critical market intelligence systems (sales forecasts, production forecasts, macro-economic trends, industry and technology trends);
- Collect, analyze and consolidate the customer feedback (strategic Voice of Customer - VOC);
- Join top conferences and/for addressing the scope of the SIA and consolidate the relevant take-aways;
- Share critical insights and findings throughout the organization, in particular Business Creation (BUs and Sales);
- Consolidate and share relevant inputs related to the SIA as contribution to the Product Line Strategy of identified target product lines (Roadmap - X+10);
- Establish and maintain strong network (relationship) with key players strongly linked with the SIA;
- Contribute to the new product development cycle and new marketing definition.
- ** Business Creation**:

- Submit Business Case(s) to the Business Creation community.
- Stimulate and support innovation initiatives (BCF0)
- Build business case(s) for new IC development(s)
- Find lead customer and forge strong relationships with key decision makers at potential customers. Act as a customer representative within the organization until the project is handed over to a Product Line (existing or to-be-created).
- Submit the business case(s) (BCF1) once the concept maturity (readiness level) has reached CRL = TRL = 5.

YOUR PROFILE
- Master's degree in engineering, preferably in electronics and/or systems;
- 10+ years of business experience, preferably in a related technical marketing / business development;
- Advanced understanding of sensors & actuators in the automotive and electronic spaces;
- Work experience at Automotive Tier sensor/actuator companies;
- Able to work with players (OEMs, Tiers, Technology owners, Research groups, Universities, Design-houses, etc) to identify technical needs and define potential paths towards solutions;
- Advanced ability to identify industry trends, risks, and opportunities for the product lines;
- Able to provide customer and competitor insight such as market segmentation, competitor strategy/positioning and industry data;
- Advanced understanding of product marketing which includes: strategic Voice of Customer (VoC), customer segmentation, competitive positioning, value definition, pricing strategies, and go-to-market strategies;
- Basic understanding of the IC development process from business case, project kick-off to IC qualification and production;
- Basic understanding of intellectual property and patents concepts to use in product strategy;
- Effective communication skills in English & local language;
- Willingness to travel intensively (min. 40%) globally (excl. travel to Melexis offices).
