**Your Main Responsibilities**:
- **Receipt of goods**: supervises the receipt of delivered goods, verifies their conformity with orders, and ensures that they are in good condition.
- **Coordination of customs clearance**:in charge of compiling the administrative files necessary for the customs clearance of goods and coordination with the company in charge of these customs clearances
- **Organization of the arrival and departure area**: In charge of respecting the arrival and departure areas of the goods according to the customers before they are put into storage. (segregation of locations)
- **Preparation of shipments**: In charge of the administrative preparation of shipments, their packaging and their shipment to customers or internal departments.
- **Coordination with carriers**: communicates with internal customers and carriers to ensure smooth distribution logistics.
- **Feedback**: keep internal customer informed by forwarding notice of items availability, shipment date and method, and current status
- **Process Optimization** : Constantly looking for ways to optimize logistics processes, whether by reducing warehousing costs, improving operational efficiency, or optimizing delivery routes.
- After a period of on-the-job training, you could incorporate a flexible schedule that may include 6/14 breaks and on-call duty during weekends.
***Your Profile**:
- Technical and administrative background, with qualification or training in the field of logistics
- You have knowledge of dangerous goods, transport and customs regulation. Knowledge in import/export regulation is a plus.
- You are in possession of a forklift driver’s license
- You are fluent in English and in French and/or Dutch (spoken and written)
- You have a sense of organization and work meticulously
- C driver’s license is a plus
