**Data Scientist BNL**

The Data Scientist BNL contributes to improvement of commercial efficiency and supports strategic and operational decisions leveraging data and advanced analytics.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Process analytical models and create or modify customer journeys while activating a brand plan and measurable insights.
- Provide measurable insights and recommendations into commercial strategies and tactics for key products in the market.
- Responsibility for key aspects along the data modelling cycle.
- Develop and optimize ML models in different contexts (Sales, MKTG, Patient data, Communication and Social data).
- Translate complex analytics into actionable recommendations and propose feasible solutions.
- Support evaluation of global commercial experiments and pilots (digital, data mining, etc.), including KPIs.
- Advice and support different teams in various types of advanced quantitative analyses.
- Work/Manage with onshore and offshore resources, as well as in-house and external consultants.
- Demonstrate thought leadership and content expertise to business partners and major markets including development of key training programs.

**WHO YOU ARE**
- University degree (Master preferred) in quantitative field (e.g. statistics, management science, operations research, engineering, finance, applied mathematics, mathematics, business administration).
- At least 8 years of progressive advanced analytics work experience with recent experience in pharmaceutical industry or health care consulting.
- Experience in multi-touch attribution, AI-driven content personalization, advanced segmentation & targeting, conversion modelling, recommendation engine for sales force and marketing systems, journey optimization, simulation, and/or decision analysis.
- Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing platforms, deep learning models (CNN, RNN) and knowledge of at least two of the following languages: Python, R, C/C++, Scala, Julia, Mathematica, ML/DL frameworks (Scikit-Learn, Stan, Pandas, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, Matplotlib).
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams to impact decision-making: willingness to “have an opinion” backed up by insight and analytics and the confidence to influence key stakeholders in meetings and one to one basis.
- Strategic business acumen, focus on results, passion for keeping up with media and technology trends. Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and local language, as well as intercultural skills.
