Chief Information Security Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead our cybersecurity efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale information security strategies, policies, and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with the organization's business goals and regulatory requirements.
2. Identify, assess, and manage cybersecurity risks to our digital and physical assets.
3. Ensure compliance with applicable national and international cybersecurity regulations, including GDPR, NIS2 Directive, and industry-specific standards.
4. Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans. Lead the response to security breaches and ensure swift recovery of systems and data.
5. Define and enforce security policies, frameworks, and architecture standards. Implement advanced security technologies to safeguard sensitive data and ensure secure customer transactions.
6. Build and lead a skilled information security team. Foster a security-first culture across the organization through training, awareness programs, and continuous improvement.
7. Work closely with executive leadership, legal, compliance, and IT teams to ensure seamless coordination on security initiatives. Regularly report on security posture, key performance indicators (KPIs), and major incidents to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
2. At least 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years as a CISO or in a senior leadership role. Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is strongly preferred.
3. In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management methodologies, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with cloud security, endpoint security, and emerging technologies such as AI/ML in cybersecurity. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
