We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Expert Lead to join our team at Atcon Global. As a key member of our security operations center, you will be responsible for overseeing IT security operations, managing the SOC team, and coordinating with security engineers. Your primary objective will be to implement effective IT security policies, create and maintain protocols and processes, and address IT security risks and issues on both an organizational and technical level.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating IT security activities, providing support in various IT security services domains, supervising and supporting the SOC team, measuring and reporting their performance metrics, running compliance reports, and supporting the audit process. You will also be responsible for coordinating IT security operational activities with providers as a member of Atcon Global's EU Security Operations Center.
As a Cybersecurity Expert Lead, you will be expected to coordinate and perform security incident management activities, including detection, response, and reporting, monitor and report on technical and operational IT security controls, recommend and implement security controls to meet security policies, legal, regulatory, and audit requirements, and report on compliance with security policies. You will also propose changes to existing IT Security policies and procedures to ensure operating efficiency and compliance, provide expert guidance to projects on IT security matters, consult with IT and security staff to ensure that security is factored into the evaluation, selection, installation, and configuration of hardware, applications, and software, work with the IT Security Manager to develop a security roadmap that addresses identified risks and business security requirements, coach and mentor IT security staff, stay up-to-date with IT security related technologies and competences, and prepare and conduct security awareness and security training initiatives.
In order to be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor/master degree or minimum 5 years' experience in IT and IT security related matters, preferably in an international environment, good knowledge and understanding of Information security technologies such as data loss prevention, web security, strong information security risk-based prioritisation capabilities, good communication skills (contacts with team, providers, and internal partners), and act as a team player and hands-on mentality.
