**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Sales Application Engineer to join our team at Gentis, a global leader in Biotechnology and Bioplastics. As a key member of our commercial department, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and development.
About You:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Engineering.
- You have a MEDIOR PROFILE with minimum five years' experience in business development and sales with a proven track record.
- You have a technical background with experience in plastics/bioplastics industry (packaging, automotive, healthcare, etc.) is preferred.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with our strategy roadmap and guide opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Build-up business case to assess commercial & technical viability of new opportunities.
- Track opportunities using CRM database and monitor/report a commercial dashboard.
- Set-up partnerships with different actors along the value chain to support development and validation of new PLA-based solutions in existing and/or new market areas.
- Deploy new technical solutions into identified market segments through intensive prospecting of new potential customers.
