Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead our site in Ghlin, Belgium. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a logistics/supply chain environment and be fluent in English and French (verbal and written).
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Supervisors and oversee the efficient day-to-day operation of the site.
- Review monthly invoicing and budget preparation with the financial controller and liaise with customers for input and approval.
- Foster a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues and administering corrective action as required.
- Implement Lean Warehousing Systems and processes and coach team members on their implementation.
- Accountable for personnel scheduling to support all shifts and accounts, plan and organize staff workload.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area.
- Broad experience in the field of Supply Chain/Logistics.
- Fluent in French and English (verbal and written) communication.
- Able to work in a diverse environment and gain exposure to an international working environment.
