Senior Key Account Manager

- Identify and target customer segments to prospect, develop, and expand new and existing client relationships.
- Drive sales of the company’s software solutions within key industries, such as energy, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, data centers, chemicals, steel and metallurgy, glass manufacturing, consulting, and finance.
- Leverage an existing network of contacts in these sectors to generate leads and opportunities.
- Arrange meetings to present the company’s solutions for optimizing complex energy systems.
- Prepare pre-qualification documents and develop tailored commercial and technical proposals, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize your engineering background or strong technical understanding to identify client needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations, addressing both commercial and technical aspects, and establish industrial and/or commercial partnerships.
- Demonstrate proven experience in similar negotiations to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain and manage client relationships post-contract, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and administrative and financial compliance.
- Define internal project objectives aligned with contract requirements and provide monthly updates in collaboration with project managers.
- Coordinate with development managers to deliver customer support effectively.
- Travel frequently within Germany to maintain strong client connections and oversee projects.
- A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical/commercial field .
- Advanced knowledge or certifications in energy systems would be an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development in relevant sectors ( , energy, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, data centers, etc.).
- Proven track record of managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Established professional network in target sectors ( , energy, healthcare, manufacturing)
- Experience in negotiating complex contracts that include technical and commercial components.
- Familiarity with project follow-up and client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of complex energy systems, industrial processes, and relevant technical solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and market trends in the energy and industrial sectors.
- Strong ability to engage with C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Fluency in English (required), any additional European language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently , especially within assigned regions in the European markets.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and cross-cultural settings.
