ObjectiveThe Warehouse Lead plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence within the warehouse team. As the operational leader, they inspire and motivate a group of warehouse operators to achieve peak performance while fostering a strong sense of teamwork. In addition to their leadership duties, the Warehouse Lead is hands-on, dedicating 80% of their time to performing key operational tasks and ensuring the smooth handling of goods. Administrative responsibilities also form an essential part of their role.Main tasks and responsibilitiesOperational leadership Lead, inspire, and develop the team by motivating, coaching, and guiding them to success. Oversee task distribution within the team to ensure efficiency and balance. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order throughout the warehouse. Adjust work schedules dynamically to meet fluctuating workloads. Warehouse Operations Manage incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring smooth operations and proper handling. Supervise the process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Assist with inventory counts and stock management every day. Administration Validate and track the arrival and departure of trucks. Prepare, review, and sign off on CMRs and loading lists. Oversee daily work planning to ensure seamless operations.
